João Álvaro Ferreira is a Software Developer at Körber Supply Chain. João graduated with an Integrated Masters in Computer Engineering from FEUP, developing a master's thesis consisting of scientific research into location-based games, relying on machine learning techniques.

Currently working in the Predictive Maintenance team at Körber, the focus of his work is currently on developing custom web tools for industrial infrastructure. In his spare time, João also works on video game development, an area he's experienced in, having worked in mobile games, 3D modeling and virtual reality/augmented reality applications.
